Let me introduce you the two of us – a girl from Brno and a boy from Karlovy Vary connected by the love for food and mountains. In 2020 we bought an abandoned house in Mariánská and decided to make it our home and a small guest house. The unexpected burden of covid meant that the reconstruction had taken four years. Meanwhile, we absolutely fell for this place.

We also came across the legend Marzebilla, the patron saint of the Ore Mountains who is said to appear in the form of fog, to show the way to the good pilgrims while the bad ones get lost. Eventually it was Marzebilla who helped us to name our house since she is called Marcipánka in Czech.

Once, Marcipánka was a school, already in existence during the Austro-Hungarian period. The troubled history of the Ore Mountains meant constant changes in its role and looks.

When we visited the place for the first time, we knew straightaway that we would like to bring it back to life. We will be more than happy if you join us in our effort to make its future.

Relax in the nature, amazing food and great coffee.
